Have video games become to easy?

I just beat RE5 and feel because of the co-op the game is way to easy and so is a lot of games now a days. I remember playing the NES and struglling through a bunch of games and the original Resident Evil's struggling to survive was what made the games fun but now with a lot of games becoming co-op and causal gamers dominating the market video games have become too easy what is your opinion are video games too easy? If you know of any games that are actually difficult besides Nnja Gaiden let me know.

games seem to be getting easier in some ways and harder in others, it is a lot easier to actually complete games now but the games are more detailed and seem to require more thinking than they used to.

I don't feel that video games have become too easy.

I have been stuck on " No Fighting In The War Room" on Veteran in Call of Duty 4 for a couple weeks now.

I also still haven't beaten Ninja Gaidan 2 on the "Path of the Master Ninja" difficulty yet either.

I think that some have.Games like pac-man,donkey kong,etc. made you think about patterns and algorhythms.Whereas newer games are almost more movie based.They look good and are fun,but not as hard as the old school games.But on the harder settings games can still be hard.

i guess video games have been getting easier but i have always played on easy or normal...i guess i just have to boost up the dificulty level...also in general, co-op tends to be easier then solo comapign

Yes they are but you have to also remember with time your skills get better,more adjusted to the controller,and etc. Though i don't think they're too easy i prefer to play games for fun not rip my hair out on super dooper impossible mode.

Agreed, some games are just plain easy, even on the harder difficulties. However, I do not mind this, I grew up in the days of the NES as well. I probably didn't finish over half of my NES games. Today, if I'm going to spend $40-$60 on a game, I want to finish it, and not get stuck on some frustrating jump that takes weeks to get over, just then to die a second later and have to start all over! So it is fine with me that games are getting easier!

It all depends on what difficulty you play. For example Call of Duty, veteran takes a long time to beat while if you are playing on recruit, you can breeze right through it. There are some games that are way to easy, like Fable 2, while some games are really hard no matter what difficulty you set the game on.

depends on the game haha some i use to play were extremely hard haha but nothing liek donkey kong XD

I remember i played fable 2 and completed it in around 18 hours and i wasn't even power gaming..i was doing side quest getting a family all that and bang completed the game..i was furoius at how easy and fast it was.
