Have YOU bought Avatar Clothes?

I haven't, and never will. Such a waste of money. It's overpriced, and easier and quicker to see your friends with the guide button instead. And who stays on someone elses avatar long enough to see the prop? It should be an instant play! I'm happy with my awesome L4D2 shirt, my Med Kit, and my agency helicopter. I doubt anyone has even bothered to see if I have a prop, anyway.

I only bought my Save Carmine shirt and my Royals hat. My props are in game rewards.

no way would i spend money on clothes for my avatar. I do however change his apppearence the odd time. Can't help boredem ...

I finally caved after 2 years of saying avatar awards are stupid, but being annoyed that there's no good sneakers for women avatars. I finally realized it's like $1.50 worth in points, and for all the annoyance, it's not that big of a loss. I think it should be free, but I think avatars are fun.

Around the time they first came out I spent some spare microsoft points on avatar clothing. Since then the only thing I've gotten is the good ol save carmine t-shirt.

I only purchased the Halo 3 shirt with just the logo on it and I purchased the Save Carmine shirt. So a grand total of 160 marketplace points, which equates to $2. Not too bad I'd say. :)

I have not and will not spend money on any of that Avatar stuff. I think I've only changed stuff on my avatar once when the update hit then once a while later I changed it again. Other then that I've never changed anything on it anyway. I barely pay attention to my avatar so meh to paying money to put stuff on it..

No, I haven't. And I never will. I have gotten some free shirts for pre-ordering specific games, but never have I actually paid money for a set of clothes by themselves.

Only thing I've bought is a Carmine Must Die tee. I'm sure that if I have some random points left over when everything has come out that I want to pick up, I'll probably end up spending them on some Avatar stuff.

Value and how much something is worth is all in the eye of the buyer. ;)

I bought the highwayman coat, gloves, and hat because I just thought it was so damn cool looking in game and well I had the spare points for about 6 months after buying the fable II expansions so i just thought of it as part of the all out purchase of the game.

I do pick up the free items any time I spy a code here in the X-box forums, so I have a few items that I saw later that cost a few points that I snatched up for free, made me lol a bit when I saw you could pay for the MW2 helmet and night vision thing after all it looks bad on any avatar XD glad I got it free.

No, I haven't and I never will. I think buying clothes for your avatars is a waste of money. I'd much rather buy another game to play whether it's from the store or in the arcade. It's not like anyone really pays that much attention the the avatars anyways. It's a gaming console. It was built to play video games. If I happen to come across a game with avatar awards, then that's great. I'll try to get those, but I won't pay for something I'll practically never use or even look at.

Yea I bought 2 props for use in gamerpictures only really and I got me a Pirates hat. I always have microsoft points left over with too little for games and themes aren't worth it since you can just use pictures off the internet

Nope, all my Avatar items have been free. I rather spend my points on XBLA and Indie Games. But I do admit some of the items looks pretty cool and I don't mind seeing what other people have bought.
