No I never had RROD and I had mine since June 2006.

ive had one since 06 and then sold that to a friend and bought the elite, and i never had any problems with ethier of my xboxes. but i have a friend who went through 2 xboxes in 3 months due to the red light

I have never had a RROD. When i first got my Xbox 360 within a month the power supply broke (so i guess it was faulty to begin with). Anyways after that its been running 13 months strong without any problems except it started to not read discs but i just popped in a Laser Lens Cleaner Disc and fixed it right up. So I have never had a RROD personally.

I had RROD 3 times on my first system (launch day system) but it didn't RROD for a year and a half so I was happy about that. My new system is running like a champ and hasn't had RROD. It's the newer chip so it should be good to go.
