Have you played Gears of War

     this is to me  one of the best games for the xbox 360,;)8)

     the Action, the Blood and Gore just makes it more fabulous.8)

The multiplayer gets boring extreamly quickly. All that you have to do is run around with a chainsaw to  get the most kills. Where is the fun in that after a few games?drewdools

 yea the last guy i saw who used pure chainsaw ended up with 4 kills in a 13 round match lol

if u think multiplay gets boring fast u probably are just bad at the game and should stick to viva pinyata. people flame it alot because the single player sux and it really doesnt its just short.

Great game a little short tho.

finished the game... played alittle multiplayer but wasnt really into it.  nice graphics though and free stuff is always good.

It's action packed and stable. Killing enemies in Gears feels allot better then in any other game. Especially GRAW, where you're enemies just fall on the floor and you have no feeling of impact.

Gears is a suberb game because of it's feel, stable rules for gameplay and awesome visuals. 

Great game a little short tho.

Hehe sorry but I just have to say this. By reading the titles of the topics you can see if the creator of the topic is new or not and this topic is a good example. But well, we can't blame him for anything.

Yes, I have played this game and well yes it's a good game but not my favourite.

Gears of War is a rental at best. Why it has been labeled as one of the best games ever is beyond me. It is short, has a miserable story and quite frankly gets boring.

dude this game deserves a lot more credit than 'rental at best.'  it is definately a must have for xbox 360. the story may be a little short but every other aspect of the game makes up for it

Explain to me what aspects that Gears OF Wars make up for its shoddy story and boring campaign? Gears does absolutely nothing new other than having a chainsaw bayonet which gets old and repetitive after using it a dozen times. The cover system is nothing new and other games do it much better, the graphics are nice but washed out. Unloading endless bullets into an enemy and watching them take them like they are nothing is ridiculous, there is no hit detection. The weapons are uninspired and have been done before. So please explain to me why Gears of War is a great game. Please don't say it is because of the multiplayer because if anything it is basic at best. Playing a death match with a bunch of as****** who criticize your every move while running around shooting each other is not my idea of fun nor originality. It has been done before and the only reason Gears was a hit is because of the extreme hype and marketing campaign it received.

Take out the chainsaw bayonet and drop the graphics by a point and you have just another basic shooter.
