MSN is used by pretty much everyone who uses Instant Messaging programs... outside of the US.SPHYNXA

yeah if you meet anyone from Canada, chances are they will not have aim and give you their msn email 

i use msn more then i use aim but i cant get on because apparantly i have a child account... im 19....STABW0UND

yeah tons of threads about that.  hopefully they'll do something about it.

I've never met anyone without MSN (now windows live messenger but msn's so much easier to say), i know quite alot of americans use the AOL messenger but if you're from around here (uk) anything AOL isn't really to be trusted, bad internet service, terrible e-mail client often likely to destroy your computer, i know, i used to work as a technician.

It's a shame that you have to make a gamertag above 18 years old just to use the service on the 360, i'm 18 now but i made my gamertag when i was 17 so now i have a perminant child account, hoping microsoft fix this stupid problem soon. 

I have it but don't chat with it much anymore. I use it to see when i get mail.
