I've got my power brick hanging by a string, and a fan is sitting beside my 360 blowing air along the back.
I've had one break on me before so I'm very cautious now, I don't think the 360 is built very well.

I have 10 Egyptian attendants (imported from 2000BC of course) tending to my 360 with big leaves (aka fans). But seriously,I take care ofmine and I've never had a problem.

1 year and a few months, 360 on top of tv and the power brick on top of a metal stand. No problems what so ever

I just picked up the Elite so I hope nothing goes wrong, does anyone know if those coolers from Nyko work really well?

I'm concerned about it but I wont be as soon as I get a job. I bought a warranty from Fry's along with the system. 2 year immediate exchange if it breaks. Now the reason why I need to get a job is because I'm almost out of cash and if it breaks I need to buy a new warranty :P

55 dollars for a new 360 with no wait or hassle sounds like a good deal to me. Then i get it covered again for 2 years.

So far, 360 has been fine in its first 2 weeks. I got the power brick on two wooden blocks but the 360 is just lying flat on a wooden shelf. good thing is that the back of the shelf has about a 1 ft opening in the middle so the fans are lined up with that opening so it gets a bit more circulation.

It's even scarier now that it's summer. I live in SoCal (w/o air conditioning) and it gets incredibly hot here. :(

Got a small fan blowing on the side to keep hot air out, power brick on a foam stand that keeps all sides exposed to air, and 360 on a stand that keeps all the vents open. and a 10$ fan attatchment to the 360 from GS.

My house even has air conditioning but it gets up to 90 in my room still :/

I'm in norcal btw. It gets 105-110 sometimes. When that happens I'm leaving my 360 off lol

Takes power from 360, can melt the inside of the 360.
