I'm having problems with my copy of Braid from XBLA, I've unlocked the full version and paid for it, but every time I try to play it, it starts in the trial mode and doesn't save my game data from when I unlocked it. Has anyone else had problems like this?

Thanks for the reply, i'm playing the game with the same xbox live gold account, but I re-downloaded it onto a new xbox 360 hard drive because my old system crapped out on me.

Did you play the trial first? if you did try deleting the trial, if that doesn't work try deleting the full game and downloading again.

I've tried that, deleting the full game even and re-downloading it from scratch, but for some reason it keeps starting with the trial mode. Is there anywhere else I can ask for help with this? Tried looking for help at the actual xbox.com website, but their "Contact support" option seems to cater more towards hardware issues.

Same thing happened to me. You have to move the license of your arcade over to your new hard drive. They are still tied to your old hard drive which is why they're only showing up as trials. You can do this on xbox.com.

that's pretty weird. I was worried about that kind of stuff happening. so I deleted the trial game and then I downloaded it from the game marketplace.

Do the licenses transfer to the new hard drive when you upgrade from a 20gb to a 120gb using the tranfer kit that comes with the 120gb?
