Having problems with Oblivion expansions! need help pleeeaaassee!

okay..... so i get shivering isles and knights of the nine expansions right? i finish both of them...and im all happy with my crusader armor and a ton of stuff you get from the shivering isles themselves.

I go on vacation...bring my xbox and everything is fine. when i brought my xbox back home and hooked it up... my expansions are still there... but it says i havent even started them! and knights of the nine takes a while so i dont feel like doing it again.. i try to fix it by loading a few other saves, performing maintenence on my hard drive (the XX RB LB XX thing in the dashboard)... making sure i have everything right and everything looks good... so i go back to the game... and i decided i was fine with doing knights of the nine again so i give up on fixing that. I go into the shivering isles only to find out that i cant do anything... when i talk to someone the only option is to cancel out of that menu. Sheogorath doesnt talk...guards dont talk... so i cant do shivering isles again because no one can give me quests...

I have never heared of this but it seems to me that some file got corrupted. Delete and redownload the expansions and see if that works. If not then it must be the saves that are corrupted, youll have to delete them im afraid.

P.S. try other saves and see if they work. With huge games like Oblivion its always best to make a lot of saves since they can never find all the bugs.

thanks guys.. man its my best character i hope i can get it fixed... but i tried redownloading the expansions and that didnt work... maybe i did something wrong.. ill have to look at it again...

oh and another problem i noticed... guards will not take me to jail or make me pay gold even if i select that option.. they just walk away.

when i delete the expansions...everything works...when i put them back on..it goes back to the way it was before i deleted them.

any ideas?

This happened to me with KoTN and all of my DLC minus SI.

Once I went offline with my character everything got re-set. Nothing you can do about it.
