I've recently thought about buying an HD TV for my 360 setup, but someone recently told me tha games would burn an image onto the screen if I didn't buy the right kind. I've never really considered HD up until now, so I know absolutely nothing of it. What features should an HD TV have for me to safely use it with my console?

I don't think burn in of images is a problem anymore on plasma screens, which is the kind it used to happen on. Best to get nowadays is LCD I think.

Burn in only happens on Plasma tv's and not LCD. There are no safety features every tv basically has the same things. It is just the way that plasmas are made that if they display the same image for over long periods of time they will become burnt into the screen. Just get an LCD HDTV and save yourself the problem. However burn in shouldn't happen for 4-5 years.
