The 120Gb HDD. The 20Gb HDD filled up fast for me so I would recommend the HDD.

120 GB HD will be well worth your money, espically if you have XBL cause the 20GB didnt last that long

it depends, do you currently watch a lot of movies, if so would you like them to look better, and do you wanna go out and buy the movies you already own again. Also there is the chance that the format will fail, regardless of what some say, the battles not over yet, or do you download a lot of content and do you store music and demos and arcade downloads? seriuos things to consider before making the purchase.

Totally depends, I only selected the hd-dvd drive because at least it is priced with decent value for what it is and it's actual market value. The 120gb is very overpriced for harddrive standards and the hd-dvd is competetively priced for its standards. Of course there is the "that format will die" arguement. Bottom line, you need a reason to get either device. If you don't desire hi-def movie playback and don't need more than 20gb(assuming you have the 20gb drive in hand) it makes no sense to buy either. If that's the case, buy a few games or a decent sound system if you are lacking either of those.

The 120 GB Hard Drive is much better. I know that this isnt an accurate comparison but i think the HD Dvd player is like the sega cd to the genesis. Yes i know the sega cd didntplay movies but the point is it was worthless. Because just like the sega cd, hd dvds will die in ayear or two.
