Maybe I misunderstood the topic, but how in the world will HDMI cable work on a 360 without an HDMI port? :|

If you're looking for an improvement over component, then no. You'll be taking a digital signal (HDMI) and changing it to analog (component). The only benefit would be if your tv only has one input which happens to be an HDMI....so in other words, it's useless.

There's an attachment that converts an HDMI input to fit the output on the 360.
