All of the newer 360's (premium and elites , not sure about teh arcade system) have a port for HDMI. If yours doesn't have the HDMI port on the back then yes it is an older 360.TypeONeg07

thats wrong. all the new 360s should have the falcon chip and shouldn't break down as easily as the older models. The Arcade version doesn't have an HDMI port because it is cheaper to produce that way. All the 360s have HD technology and can be used with an HDTV if you have component cables.

Only the Elite comes with the HDMI cable and the cable has NOTHING to do with your hardware; it is just for connecting to an HDTV.jrobinow

I bought a holiday bundle Premium system in october and it came with the HDMI cables.
