I really can't notice any difference. I mean, maybe the HDTV takes off some of the "rough" edges, but is a somewhat sharper image really worth several thousand dollars? In my opinion, I think HDTV's are overrated and are wastes of money, but some people would disagree. Fxdm
You are entitled to your opinion but if you were to see them side by side I think you might feel differently. $2000 maybe for a 50inch. If you are strapped for cash you can get a 22inch widescreen monitor from Sceptre which does 1080p for $200. you can get a 42inch for under a grand from just about any manufacturer. Again if you are strapped for cash you probibly have more important things to spend money on but if you work you will greatly appriciate an HDTV.

umm expensive!??! i bought myself a 22" lcd hdtv in circuit city for $350 and its amazing it looks so sharp :)
There is a difference. But you'll enjoy your 360 on an SD TV too.
I've played my 360 on an SD TV since launch and got an HD TV in December last year.
The games do look better but If you have a good SD TV then you might as well spend the money you'd spend on the TV on games.
