hdtv lag on halo 3

I just got a new tv for chritsmas its a vizio lcd hd 26". and I noticed some delay while playing halo 3. its really anoyying is there a way i can like calibrate it or something?

What are the TV Specs? but I highly doubt the problem is in the TV

I have the same TV. No problems with lag in Halo 3. Maybe it's just a bad one, take it back and get a new one. Another fix is to take Halo out, torch it, and then break the remains once they cool, then put in CoD4. :D!

I think he's talking about FPS lag, not latency. In any case that will have nothing too do with your tv, other than stuff regarding resolution, but just chalk it off as normal. The 360 is essentially just a computer, and it has framerate problems as well. Different areas in the game will take up more resources depending on what's around you.

I've noticed alot of lag on Gears of War while playing co-op last night.

(I hope I don't get modded for that.)

yea... well not that much myabe like a split second or two but its noticeable and shouldnt happen like in guitar hero or rock band but at least with that u can calibrate it in tha games options menu...

what kind of cable are you using? in a few tvs vga cables can create a small delay

what response time your tv got. sure its adviseable to have 10ms or below for games. to be honest mines at 12ms and dont really have any problems
