u do realize the resolution on moniters is higher then normal HDTVs and its smaller so no doubt it`ll look better on a moniter

HDTVs are for when u want to go big...im sorry but i`d rather game on my 60" 1080p TV then a 19" computer moniter

and i can guarentee that my 60: 1080p set looks better then ur moniter

LoL...

this guy is partially right.

I play my 360 on a 52" HDTV by Sony and it looks INCREDIBLE, but that's because i'm using the VGA connection and the 1080i resolution.... so yeah, HDTV does not necessarily automatically mean the highest def for your 360... you gotta use the right connection cable type.

I wonder what type he is using ?

You should use 720p not 1080i. 720p is for more faster moving images.

not at all

u realize most computer moniters have a 2ms-4ms response time right

well my 60" 1080p has a 2ms response time as well so its just as clear as ur moniter with better resolution and WAYYY bigger

I don't see what is the purpose of this thread, but TC I commend you for somehow instinctively knowing all of our HDTV set-ups and how bad they look compared to your PC monitor without any visual reference.

Well done, you've just made yourself look like a complete idiot. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. So, I pity you.

You DO know (evidently you don't) that the resolution 1600 x 1200 is a HD resolution don't you? Just because it's a Monitor, doesn't mean it's not HD.

It's my guess that you don't know the specs of your brother's TV, and therefore his may well be worse than your Monitor if the specs arn't suitable for gaming.

Bragging/Boasting is not really an admirable personality trait at any time, but even less so when the person doing it is a blathering fool like yourself. I suggest you go do some research...

wow just because a TV is bigger then a moniter does notmean its blurrier. size has no effect on that aspect, its all in the response time man. basically your trying to say that a 60" TV with a 2ms response time will be blurrier then a 20" TV with a 7ms response time with makes no sense. 2ms is 2ms no matter how big of a TV you have to it`ll be just as clear
