Headset problems..

So i just got on xbox live for the first time and i was voice chatting with a friend of mine..

during this chat we had delay and his voice sounded strange, as if the speaker in the headset is very bad.

is this supposed to be this way or is there some way i can fix this

1. You may experienced "Voice Lag."

2. Your voice doesn't sound EXACTLY how it's suppose to.

3. Invest your money intoa Turtle Beach headset, or go even higher for a pair of Astro A40's. I got mine at Christmas and they're a great 360 investment.
