Help! 360 Won't update any games!

I have no idea what's going on. Every time I try to update a game, it will almsot finish, and then it will says theres a problem with my connection, tells me to check it in my network settings, brings me back to the dashboard, and signs me back into Xbox Live.

Silly me did a maintenance, and that only worsened the problem, because now I have to re-update every game, but I can't update ANY games because I still get the same error.

So its NOT just me? Thank God!

If it helps, I just got my laptop today, and played a little bit of Halo 2 Vista on it, had fun, killed some jerks, got a few achievements, decided to go play Halo 3, and it told me to update, and it wouldn't.

In fact, every game asked me to update it, and I knew there weren't updates for that game (Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 to name one)

it's not just games that wont update, I haven't been on live in about a year and I was trying to get on today so I could download the new Ninja Turtle game but it wont let me update my 360... I'm pretty pissed off because I went out and bought a point card and I can't even connect to live

I mean, it's bad enough that this is my seventh (YES SEVENTH) 360, but to be paying 50 dollars a year (Or is it 60?) Since I was 14 and having as many Live problems as I've had is ridiculous.

Yeah, the problem with me is, I cleaned my cache and can't download any updates now.

ive been having the same problem too and i also live in new york. it just started a little bit ago right after i updated 1 game and then i wanted to play another game that also needed an update and it keeps saying its failing so im thinking about contacting them and asking wtf is going on. the connection says xbox is up and running with no problems. so hopefully they fix this problem soon,

Im in Alabama I can download the netflix update but games are fubar Didi the same thing as mentioned earlier cleared the cache BIG MISTAKE.

Updates are working now I would still like to know what caused this.

finaly it works.... I'm downloading TMNT as I type this
