I was wanting to buy a Xbox 360 Premium. Do you think it would be better to buy one new, used, or refurbished. Any help would be greatly appreciate.

I would definately go new. A used console may have had to be fixed at one point, which you could never tell, and it may be prone to breaking again. Also, if you want to get one, I would wait for the new 60 gb model coming out next month.

Go new, 20gb models have had a price drop and will never become cheaper since they stopped producing them. Never get them used since they could be modded or PROD'ed. ALso maybe you want to get the 60gb models which are sepose to be PROD proof and have a bigger HDD which is useful now that you can save games on your harddrive (starting next fall update).

I would get the 20gig UNLESS you will want to do the following:

Keep alot of Demos, Download movies, Copy games to the Hard Drive (fall update),Store Music...

Honestly Im a little upset about my elite getting rrod so im a little biased but I wouldnt dump a whole lot of cash into the 360 which is why I would grab the 20gig which just had a price drop.

Had the same question myself, and decided to go new. Simply becasue i'm scared of getting the RROD and losing my console.

Either way, role on next week when my new 360 will have arrived :D

I'd get refurb. It's already certified by Microsoft, has the 3 year warranty & only costs $200! I've seen Buy.com and compusa online have the refurbs for sale. That's what I'd get. Just take into account that if it breaks, you'll be out about 2 weeks without a console. It can happen with new consoles as well as used or refurbished. However, the refurbs are straight from the repair factories. My current 360 is a refurb & it has run for 1 year & 3 months, which is 9 months longer than the new one I bought (that only ran for 6 months).

New definetely.

Also, unless you are going to be someone who has a ton of Arcade games, go 20gig.
