HELP! Can't connect to Live all of a sudden

This problem began today. I attempted to log in to Live like always and instead I get an error telling me it cannot connect. So I ran the XBox Live Connection Test diagnostic and Network Adaptor, IP Address, and DNS all passed fine, but then "MTU" failed. Multiple tries brought the same result. I use an "INEXQ"wired router and splitting my cable connection between my 360 and PC.

I have no clue as to why this is happening. Up until this point its been working fine and this never happened before.

I would really appreciate some help on this issue. Word.

They are fixing things and doing maintenance.. whats so hard to understand?

Its all over the forums on Gamespot and Microsoft also sent out messages to people on Xbox Live.  They sent them about 3 days ago and the messages on the forum have been up for that amount of time as well.

Not to sure UK time..... but it will go back upo at aroun 2:00 pm PACIFIC (westcoast of north america) time

than after a few seconds i remembered that Live would be down

My god.. just take a look around the forums or on the gamespot main page... or xbox live page.. they all say Xbox live is having some maintenance.

xbox live even sent out a message saying it would be down today to everyone's account.
