Ok, i plan on getting halo 3, bioshock, assassins creed etc, the bigtitles this year, but i cant decide whether to upgrade my core 360 and buy an hdd and wireless controller along with some kind of faceplate, i was thinkin gears or the halo faceplate, and getting a wireless router to play live...... or should i just say the hell with the add ons and just go buy an elite? I might save money as of now if i add on but i also couldnt complain on getting a new system for all the upcoming games. im not trying to start a system war but i was going to buy a ps3 in like a week so i can own all 3 systems since i also have a wii because i want the best of all 3 worlds. So if u understand where im coming from... either save more money by add onsor just say screw it and spend more on a new system. I just feel like owning a core minus all the other things is like being a halfassed gamer, especially with halo 3 coming out.

all you have to do is buy a 120 gig hard drive and its basically an elite, no point in wasting 500 bucks when you can do the same for 200

Um, yeah, an Elite without HDMI is no Elite at all...

If you don't need teh HDMI don't both getting the Elite, just go with the 120GB HDD which is about 200 and the wireless controllers. you'll save a lot of money for all the games coming out.

don't buy the ps3, mgs4 is probably coming to the 360 anyways.... maybe in the future when the ps3 price goes down and they actually get games that are good exclusives...

dude don't start a system war here because you don't know anything about the PS3 and you can't just assume the 360 is goin to get every exclusive so leave.
