Help in picking an xbox

I want to get an abox 360 but im not sure which one to get. I was thinking either the pro verion for #350 or the halo 3 version for $400. Does the halo 3 version hve better hardware like the new 360's coming out?

The Halo 3 360 is a combination of the Pro and the Elite. The only thing that it lacks is that huge hard drive. I shipped them all last night and after that I really want one.lol
