I just picked up FF13 and have been playing it lately, and I have just gotten to the point where I am supposed to insert the 2nd disc. My question is this: is it possible to "install" the 2nd and 3rd discs to the HDD? I have the first disc installed, but when I put in the 2nd disc, I don't have an option to install it, only to play or eject it. I think I recall having this issue with Mass Effect 2 as well, but I don't know for sure. Anybody have any insight? Thanks in advance.

I have both ME2 discs installed but you still need to insert the second at particular moments however.

It'd be a waste of HDD space if you're trying to install the game for the sake of not having to switch discs.

Stupid really, but there you go.

I just wanted to install all 3 discs so I don't have to have the disc drive spinning constantly, it sounds like a jet engine sometimes and can get annoying.

Just install the second and third discs as you did the first, then it will all run off the hard drive.

Should be able to install them as you did with the first disc - I installed the discs as I progressed through Lost Odyssey. If the option isn't showing up in the dashboard exist the disc menu and then press Y again to reload it. I've noticed that sometimes the 'install' option doesn't show up or takes a few seconds to appear.

This worked, thanks! I just had to re-insert disc, worked the second time.

This is how I did it with Lost Odyssey: I swapped discs when prompted, saved at the first save spot, quit to the dashboard and installed the new disc.
