Help - my max headset volume is still too low

The max headset volume for my 360 is still too low for some reason.

It's low for listening to other people talk (other people have told me that they can hear me fine).

I can hear people but the volume is slightly low especially considering I have the headset set to full volume.

I find I have to turn down the volume on my TV so that I can hear people through the headset, which is annoying.

I have the headset that came with the system (and it's an Elite system that I bought a couple months ago).

I used to have a launch 360 and the volume was much better on the headset that came with that system.

Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

Only solution I can think of is setting it so the voices go through your television speakers.

I find it low too. Maybe it's just us?

Are you sure its plugged in tightly? I once thought the volume was pathetic but then i noticed that my cord wasnt in deep enough, then boom i had alright output.

I hope you dont mind but i got a question too, is there a way to increase the sensitivity for the mic? Like i play late at night sometimes and dont want to interrupt neighbours. I also prefer talking low volume too.

My standard headset was the same and still is the same to this day, until I purchased the wireless headset which is a great investment.

Pros
-clear voice communication
-removes the annoying wire
-battery life is quite long
-smaller and lighter than the standard headset

Cons
-randomly cuts out for 3-5 seconds
-costs as much as a new game but you get what you pay for
-6 hour battery charge

It has a few flaws but in the end it works just fine. I highly recommend the wireless headset.
