The two games that lasted me the longest are probably Skyrim and Fallout 3. They each lasted well over 100 hours for me! If value for money's on your agenda, you should definitely check them out.

Fallout 3/New Vegas could keep you occupied for longer than the entire Mass Effect trilogy. Skyrim/Oblivion would be the same way; the amount of content in these games is ridiculous.

Portal 2 won't last you very long, unless you want to replay it a lot but it's a puzzle game so once you know the solution there isn't much reason to play it again. The Orange Box and Dark Souls both have a good amount of content, but I personally would recommend Mass Effect Trilogy because you are getting 3 games with a lot of replay value. The Mass Effect series is all about choices and there are multiple endings, thus giving you plenty of reasons to replay it again.

Also if you're looking for a game series with a lot of length, I would recommend Skyrim or any of the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, that is if you don't already have them. Good luck on your purchase decision!

Borderlands 2 is a long, relaxing game. Better if you can play it with a mate though.

If you are going for longevity game play, you'd better go with SKYRIM or Fallout series. If your looking for intense shooter,go with Halo,Call of Duty,or Gears of War.Good Luck to you.

If you haven't played Skyrim, get that. But I recently got Far Cry 3 and that's a great game. I'd put it in my top 5 FPSs for sure.

I would not recommend Borderlands 2 unless you have some friends still playing it. I agree with all those that have said Fallout 3, but make sure you get the GOTY edition, it adds A TON of content. Deus Ex is another game that has a good amount of replay value. You can play it stealth or just shoot everyone, and it has several endings.

Orange Box! 5 great games for a cheap price. Sounds like a good deal to me. Half Life will keep entertained for a while! Team Fortress is a really good multiplayer! I'm not sure if people still play it on a 360. But if anything you can get it on Steam for really cheap! Tons of people still play it on PC AND you can run it on a "casual" PC.

so, i was about to buy Fallout 3, i reserved a copy, but when i arrived to the store the guy says that by error they sold the game to another person, since i travelled about 2 hours to the store i was tired and wanted something to spend time from the games he had left i ended buying Borderlands 2, he made me a discount on the game because of the error, after reading all the sugerences i want Fallout 3 so badly, but for the moment i will play borderlands.... sorry if my english is bad, i talk spanish x)

I would probably rent The Orange Box and Portal 2 because those two games are games that should be borrowed/rented instead of having them bought. If you are looking for a game to buy then I would choose Dark Souls, I don't know to much about that game but I think I heard it was alright. So you should probably buy Dark Souls.

I didn't see the Witcher 2 get a mention, this is a great little hidden gem i bellieve something that if you have the time invest some here. Its a great fantasy tale set in a fantastic world with buckets of character, this along with along with the fantastic combat system create a perfect and long gaming experience, one that may not be so readily avliable as the likes of Mass Effect, Skyrim and Fallout. I strongly reccomend it.
