I havent played my 360 in a couple months and when I tried to sign in it said to test my connection. When I do everything passes until I get to the Xbox live test. It says I need to update my system. I pick yes but since it still hasnt connected to xbox live yet the update fails. If I pick no then the xbox live thing fails. It wont let me connect to xbox live without testing my connection. What should I do?

Do you even have the system connected to the internet? Check your ethernet cable and phone line.
