I'm not quite sure what you are talking about. D:
The only sequence I can think that sounds remotely similar to what you are saying is the scenario prior to saving Liara when you need to do the elevator beacon override hack in a specific order.
Ok so there's a game like this in real life its called towers of hanoi, what you have to do is move the whole column over to the complete other side. I don't remember wha it looks like in the game but what you have to do is move the base of the tower over to the space on the right. You have to make sure that the larger pieces of the puzzle are below smaller pieces. Look at this page and look at the animated sequence at the top to get what I'm taking about, just watch the scene for a few seconds and you'll see it start working, and just follow that example in the game. Here's the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tower_of_Hanoi
There is a specific sequence posted in some game guide possibly even the game guide on gamespot. Just look up cheats for Mass Effect. It is not really cheating because attempting to break the puzzle yourself is absolutely absurd.bmcookie797
I beat it though it did take a long time. Just keep at it and you'd eventually get it.
I don't get why you guys found this puzzle so hard, I managed to do it in like 10 minutes. (And no I'm not bragging, I just think it's strange just how different peoples minds work.)
I hope you guys manage to solve it, as not solving it is virtually like crippling the main quest. And in my opinion the main quest is a lot of fun to do.

If your on that sick puzzle, thats apart of the main quest its almost impossible to break if you dont know what to do. This one guy who did it took him 2 hours. I suggest just use omni gel to open it. its not worth the time and theres no achievement to do itUn4givingAsaultIt's not that hard, I did it in like 3-4 mins a couple of days ago (just beat the game). I just hate how the lights are flashing in the back and it made me feel sick.

Yeah! that's what is known as GUESSING. I haven't played the game in like 5 months so cut me a break! Geez! lol.

It is common sense if you think it through before you move rather than just putting things in random places. Sounds corny but its kind of like chess in that sense

absolutely, its basic maths. your probably going about it the wrong way, and thats why you cant do it, the gentleman who posted about the wikipedia article nailed it on the nose, and if you still havent done it after reading that, then.....well...........
