Im not gonna be very helpful with this since I suck with technology but I bought a cheap @ss ****** router (cheapest one they had) and it works great. I was on the phone with the router company for about 2 hrs but in the end it works great.

Hi i have a U.S Robotics router i picked up from ebay for £5 all you have to look for is a router with 2 or more either ports.

Then you may want a second ethernet cable, cat 5. preferably. 1 for the computer to router then a second from router to the xbox. the router i have also has a ADSL line for connecting to your phone line or modem. hope this information is somewhat helpfull.

I had the same problem, all you need to do is buy a wireless router, it has 4 ethernet slots, so your computer and xbox can go into them.

Alternativly, if you want to buy this thing that plugs into your modem, and givs you extra slots, though they are quite rare and may need to go to quite a few shops to find them.

That the best way to go, wireless routers are pretty cheap now.
