Help with saving achievements

I started a new Assassin's Creed game and after completeing the tutorial it gives me this message:

"Achievement could not be saved. Please re-insert the XBOX 360 Memory Unit containing your gamer profile."

I only have one memory unit and since this happened to me before I moved the profile onto my hard drive thinking that would fix it. So after moving it over, I started a brand new game for the second time but still get this same message. I don't get it- what am I doing wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know. Mines been doing the same thing lately but I thought it was just me. Odd.

wierd maybe get a memory card and save onto there then once it gets going revert it onto the hard drive
