i have had my 360 for a month or so and three people in my house have a profile on it.  We are currently enjoying our free trial of xbox live gold.  Recently I just bought a 12 month card and a 2800 points card.  Just wondering if I have to buy three different Gold cards, one for each user.  Also do all three profiles get to share the points?  or do I have to buy three different cards of points too? thankx:)

It's all seperate.  Your gold card will only be good for one account and the points card will only be good under the profile you use to redeem it.

I've never used a prepaid card for my Microsoft Points, but if you use a credit card the points can be shared over multiple accounts.  I'd assume it is the same with the prepaid card.
