I have gone through to different sets of the "Heroes" HD DVD set with my 360 HD DVD player. In both copies, dsic 2 wont play. The screen simply goes black. I eventuallly hear the disk stop spinning. I can't even use the XBOX guide button to get back to the main menu. I find it odd that this would happen on two separate copies, and all other discs in both sets worked perfectly. It seems strange that it is the same disc each time. Does anyone have any ideas or heard of similar problems? I don't want to keep returning this if it is an easy fix and not a disc problem.

the 360 HD DVD addon isnt compatible with all disks. If youve already tried another disk then there isnt much you can do cept get a proper HDDVD player.

are you for cerial? that is the most retarded thing i have ever heard. way to gimp your hd-dvd drive there.GlassDominion
Its not compatible with all disks, like most early unit it will have issues on some disks, this is why its never a good idea to jump on a tech early on while things are still being worked on and changed.

OK, so since other people have noticed this too, here is what I found. Evidently, there is a problem because of the Web enabled features on disk 2. If you clear out the cookies from your HD-DVD player and disconnect from the web, the disc should work fine.If you want to use the web enabled features, be aware that some people are reporting it takes over an hour because they have so few servers active. When you are done, the current (unoffical) advice on the HD-DVD forums is to then delete all the cookies so your disk will work again next time. I have been scrounging HD DVD forums all day to figure this out. Thanks to all who offered help, and as for the jerks who made fun of the 360 HD DVD player, its a fine system!
