Releasing in about a week and a half- May 17, which is too late because I finish my last exam today. If Bethesda was smart at all they would have timed the release of the DLC for today, right after my last exam. I'm that self-centered. Kidding, I'm not that self-centered, but I am excited and I've been waiting to start a new character with the next DLC.

Reflection, skepticism, excitement?

I enjoyed Dead Money. I thought that it really dragged on (SPOILERS) when you have to sneak around the holograms in the last leg of the DLC. But, just like Fallout 3, I thought the main story lacked really interesting characters and DLC added them- Point Lookout (Desmond). So, Dean, Dog (God), and Christine were welcome, and the "and stay back" perk with 5 more levels were alright.

In summary, I'm really looking forward to being done with finals, and spending a few days of concentrated laziness on some New Vegas.

I never got Dead Money due to some mixed write-ups for it, but the new stuff does look interesting. I agree with the timing of the release, though; nobody should be foolish enough to release DLC alonside a CoD map pack. It's sales suicide even when the games are in different genres.

Yeah, I think it'll most likely be overshadowed by escalation. But, I'm hopeful that the reason why the rest of the DLC has taken so long to release is that they took time to do a decent job.
