i got my september issue of EGM today. i dont know why i got it so early but.
they confirm the hornet is playable, in single player, and "possibly" multiplayer. Forge is a map editor, though it will not feature editable geometry. The mauler is the brute shotgun, the Prowler is the Brute warthog-ish vehicle. the "Elephant" is a gigantic DRIVEABLE base, which can spawn players, it WALKS around on sand trap. they showed some of the elite armour. anyway pick up the EGM to read it up.
EDIT: also a flash equiptment. (flash bang) and the radar jammer is shown.
I hate that they add cheap weapons like the gravity hammer to multiplayer. I'm fine with it on single player, but i hate that they put stupid weapons like that in multiplayer games.

its not really "adding" it will just replace the energy sword on some maps
i aint calling you a lier but some of that stuff seem to good (except grav hammer seem to be a new newb weapon) to be true but at the same time it mkes sense to a certain amount. best to wait and see. i better check the halo 3 forums.

It will be like Band of Bugs, where you can place stuff in a basic pattern, but no real customisation like Farcry. Thats a good thing though, most people cant handle the level of depth that Farcry and other games can get to.

do you remember the so called beta code revealing new stuff? cause so far it all matches up. and in the beta code it said 4 player online co op. 8) yeah, i read that a while ago, still there isnt a flamethrower, so i dunno, i guess i should wait for bungie to comfirmed it or wait till the game cames out

nope, its not dumb. the article said you mainly "customize" the map.. like changing weapon, vehicle, and player spawns, and "other stuff that will be mentioned later" im guessing objects will be place-able, like bases, trees, jumps would be awesome! stuff like that. OH you can also customize how much AMMO the weapons have on the map:o
