horror games....

lets discuss about some horror games that made us yell loud and jump out of our seats. firstly.. for me fear was one of the best horror games ive ever played. condemned was also good with its supub meeley and some very goodcreepy movements which gave it the very survivalistic feel.alone in the dark was good graphically but the controls and puzzles were a bit frustrating to me. dead space didnt scare me much but it was a very good experience killing all those creepy aliens, the sound effects and graphics were awesome though. re4 also scared me a lot. also game like the darkness were very excellently made (SPOILER: especially when Jackie wakes up in darkness world).and i heard that shell shock 2 was very dissappointing.comming to upcomming games... alan wake is one game that im very curious about. dead island also looks good i hope it has the same good meeley system as in condemned, multilayer damage system makes it more interesting to me. andi am very much waitin for somenews about games like i am alive and possession.

The only games that have really scared were some of the early Silent Hill games. FEAR I did not think was that scary it just had a couple of moments where it made you jump but that was it and i didnt find dead space scary at all

I have been playing the horror games since the original RE, I dont usually get scared but something caught me off guard in condemened and scared me, I then shut the game off and never played it again lol. I can also remember being about 10 years old playing Resident Evil real late at night and just hearing the sounds of the dogs walking and not knowing where they are coming from is very creepy.

horror games are awesome. thats why i cant wait for Alan Wake and Dead Space 2. i would love to see more horror games.

Generally not a fan of Horror games, as they usually have terrible controls. However, Dead Space, RE4+5, Doom3 and Condemed were awesome, so I think horror games are moving in the right direction.

I cannot wait for Dead Space 2.

Fatal Frame with 5.1 surround sound and a lonely, dark room. Prolly the most terrifying game I've ever played. Dead Space made me jump a few times... oh, and that damn zombie dog that jumped through the window in Resident Evil.

oh, and the only thing to ever make me squirm was theberserker from Gears of War...

RE5 isn't really considered a horror game.

Fear got me scared a little, So did condemned but i think Dead space scared me most.

Lets hope Resident Evil gets scary again. RE5 was a joke on survival horror games.
