Hour of Victory...what a waste of time

I just downloaded the demo for this game on MP and i am just amazed at how bad the game is.

Graphics , AI, gameplay...i have to say this game is really terrible...so sad.

I can;t avoid getting mad at the people that previewed the game on GS.How can they not say anything about how bad the game is?

Looks like a crappy knock off of COD.

But still, i feel like trying it out to determine

its awfulness,or is it still a waste of time? 

for some reason the demo took a few hours to download, and by the time it was done i was thinking this better be worth all that time. long story short, this is literally the worst WW2 game i've played IMO. it may be even the worst shooter i have ever played.:?

I also thought it was very bad, playing the demo was painfull and now a terrible memory :cry:

Graphically, the game looks alright. The gameplay is where it completely fell apart for me. The shooting felt inaccurate, clunky and sluggish--I just ran around and whacked dudes and it worked a lot better as a strategy. Not supposed to be that way, Midway.

Yeah, this game was bad.... and btw, did any of you guys get motion sickness playing this game?  I usually can handle any FPS game... but after 5 minutes, my eyes were getting a bit teary.

Its like a REALLY REALLY REALLY bad version of COD.....super crappy aiming, disgusting AI, and visuals = to...GUN....*exageration obviously, but not by much*

This game needs to go back to formula, it is crap!

You should have visited Emblem Union. There gather most of people who watch those online events. There is also their feedbacj:)

I think this game may just get a rent, thats ONLY if the multiplayer is good.

If it sucks that bad then forget the multiplayer.  Hopefully the offfline acheivements are fairly easy & quick to get, because that will be the main reason I rent it.

It took the formula of comandos strike force, the run and gun of medal of honor, and a few aspects of call of duty, and ended up one big wad of terrible mess. The sad thing was, after watching a few videos, the game actually looked like it might have something in it. But due to TERRIBLE level design, AI, gameplay, and just overall a terrible game, is nothing more than i expected. It will be at the price of $19.99 after a weeks release, mark my words.THA-TODD-BEAST

If that happens you will be able to get the game for $8.00 to $15.00 on Ebay.

this must be the first time i have seen everybody agreeing on a game being bad i cannot remember it ever happening...

i hope Midway will have people looking at the forums.

What i  do not understnd is how someone invested a bunch of money in this game....

then they cry when they lose money.

You cannot seriously expectt to create a WW2 shooter (trite and consumed genra) make it terrible and make money out of it.

I like how when you go to the demo and read the description, it says  " on of the most anticipated WWII shooters "  and then it takes literally 4 hours to download, and its the worst WWII game ever.

LOL same way. First of all the sniper sucks ass, graphics are terrible, and it's not fun. I  actually saw the enemies spawning and then i saw my guy slide across the screen like he was moonwalking. 

The most incredible thing is that the game is 19 DAYS FROM RELEASE. That means that in 1 week or so it SHOULD GO GOLD...

This must be some kind of a joke.

The AI is so bad it looks really like it was a joke, sometimes the soldiers slide instead of walking and run around taking cover in a way thta is totally demented.

Someone said they can fix it...yes with some alchool and some fire.

That is how you fix this game.

I feel bad thinking on how the people that made the game will feel after reading all this comments on the net but i believe if they think they can publish this they need a wake up call;.

And by the way Aria 51 (sorry if spelling wrong) sucks bad too.

they actually took it off of marketplace. i think all the reactions to the demo have been so bad, the devs have heard/read what people think and they took it off marketplace. since it's so close to release, the game is better off if they don't put a demo out and just let those people who are intereested buy it. wow, what a bad move midway.

 This game was soooo baaad!!!! I played pirates of the carribean 3 demo before and I liked it more than this crap . The thing I hated the most were the controlls and graphics and the voice acting was annoying the guy was like " this way lad" 50x . And I thought call of duty was bad...turgore

Oh, idk, i didn't think pirates of the carribean demo was that bad for what it was, i could see myself at least renting it. On the other hand, Hour of Victory was one of the worst games of any genre i have ever played, and you couldn't pay me $60 to buy it. I ran through the whole level just cutting everyone with the knife, while i looked at the craptacular graphics. Just a terrible, terrible game.
