I think this would be a swell idea for Blizzard to bring the most popular MMO RPG to the 360. It's a perfect match because Xbox Live already has the online community infrastructure in place and just imagine how much this would boost 360 and Xbox Live gold sales! I was also thinking that since WOW is the most widely accessible online RPG's it would sell very well on a console and it's much more comfortable sitting on your couch for hours than at a computer desk.

I wouldn't work too well, i mean yeah sure xbox has a great online service and it would sure beat paying that £9 a month(UK) but microsoft would have to bring out their own keyboard and other devices unless they was going to allow other companies like logitech to make things for the 360. I mean there is only so much a controller can do and i wud much more prefere to play it with a keyboard and mouse on the PC than a controller and what ever else is needed

This rumor has been in the mill for a while. The latest rumor, is that Microsoft is indeed going to bring out a USB Mouse and Keyboard combo, opening the door for WOW on the 360, as well as online browsing. But...these are all just rumors.

Still, i just don't think that it will do well because if you think about it everyone who wants WOW has already got it on the PC i mean you can get it for around £15, and then you would also get the pc fans complaining about how we xbox users don't have to pay a monthly fee and just a yearly £40 for xbox live(cos u know totally that is what would happen)

I would love to see WoW on 360 but the following would have to happen first

There must be a keyboard - mouse that comes out for 360, maybe packaged with the game. The option of taking your PC account onto the 360 version and playing back and forth on pc and 360, and of course already implied is that PC and 360 gamers can co-exist and are both fair versions to play on.

WoW is old. I certainly wouldn't like to play a 2 year old game with outdated graphics on a nextgen console. I prefer to wait a year for the release of Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. WoW wont have anything to compete with if Funcom delivers half of what they promice in AoC:HA. Seriously, if you want a mmorpg for your 360 then check this game out

Yeah I see there is some limitations but nothing that can't be overcome. And I think gamers would have to pay somethign extra for the fee above the xbox live yearly fee. A keyboard and mouse could definitely be packaged with the game though and that's all you need, everything's ready to go. Maybe they could even make a special kb/mouse that could sit on your lap so you dont' need to use a table.

Yeah but would  you really want to pay another fee on top on your xbl membership, i mean i know its not alot but still FF did that and i know of very little players that play on that and would that mean that WOW would have to be installed onto your HDD like FF?

Personally I don't care for MMO'S, but I think it would be good for gamer's in general, cause the more game's the better. IMO the only MMO to stand out above the rest (so far) has been Huxely, which looks amazing!

sure it would be cool BUT Who really CARES? a majority of people who own a pc play Wow and they would rather sit at their desk and play with there good o'le mouse and keyboard then buy the only  xbox compatible keyboard/mouse version from LOGITECH which in canada( dont know about other countries) logitech mouse/keyboard combo cost around 129.99 $ cheap ones to. They'll definantly will only make it only 360 compatible so you cant hookup for your mouse/keyboard from ur pc.it would be quite pointless........ and blizz would waste their money knowing they probably wouldent be able to charge XBL players a monthly fee knowing it woulden't attract a crowd.

Age of Conan is coming to the 360, which is a better game anyways.  Only MMO I've seen so far that has tried to make the quests fun.  Every other MMO relies on the fact that it is a social interaction tool or that it has new and exciting crafting mechanics.  And Hyboria pwns Azeroth.

Blizzard said it, for them to do a console port it would HAVE to support Keyboard and Mouse. But they are more likely to do a new game for the console rather than mingle with their PC King.

WoW is pretty fun i have to admit. But some people i know including some of my friendds have lost their lives to it:( The only bad thing about WoW is that it's too addicting and if it were to come to the 360 i'd be on it all day, also WoW players are charged 15 bucks a month to play so thats almost 200 dollars a year just to play one game. And no game is worth that much no matter how good. So if WoW does one day make it's way to the 360 expect additional charge, just like with the online player for final fantasy XI.

Please no. Anyhow, you wouldn't need Xbox Live Gold to play it if it did come, why don't people understand these things? FFXI, you can play WITHOUT Xbox Live Gold, since it runs through the PlayOnline service. WoW would do the same thing, but not through PlayOnline. People have the same complaints with Huxley: "OMG! Xbox Live Gold + 15 a month screw that!!!111!!!" But actually, they are just morons who don't realize you wouldn't need gold to play a MMO on 360. With all that said, don't bring this poor excuse for a game to the Xbox360 (And yes, I've tried this game for a while, really a pathetic time-sink). Let the over-weight, under-socialized sit on their PCs wasting away their time on WoW, where they are happy.

Play it on the pc and you will see why it would never work on a console. Guild Wars is the one that would work on a console.

Sorry if i offended you and if you play WoW. But i wasn't even including Xbox live gold into the equation. Think about it if WoW were to come to the 360 blizzard would charge the 360 users the same amount as the PC users i mean its only fair right? So if we do the math here you pay 15 dollars a month and there are 12 months in a year ok... So if you multiply 12 and 15 you get 180. THat means you pay 180 dollars a year. Now if you think about this is it really worth it to pay that much for a game after playing it only for a year? What do you get a little midget character and roaming around talking to role playing men. Not only that you're probablly gonna be paying for xbox live gold, at the bare minimum for 60 dollars a year. Now thats over 200 dollars a year for online service thats great isn't it!:D

Any USB keyboard works with the 360.... I picked up one from Best Buy for $14.99 whenI started playing FFXI on the 360 and it works just fine, plug it in and there ya go.

No way would I want that pathetic excuse for an MMO come to the 360. Now Warhammer - THATS a true MMO. True pvp (makes of DoAC), and a better lore; I want that instead of WoW on the 360.
