i didnt pre-order Halo 3. and im not a loser so im not going to camp out somewhere. where i live its mostly old people so tuesday im going to have my friend just walk in to walmart and get it. and plus everybody is going to be at school.

Unfortunately, this might be the only way we get it. Gamestop allowed me to put a pre-order in around two weeks ago when they've been taking them for months. I live in a region of Florida that doesn't have an enormous amount of younger people and there's also about seven different Gamestop's in my region (one is across the street from the other as it used to be an EB, about 30 minutes South of my house there's three... a Gamestop in the mall, a former EB just outside of the mall that's now a Gamestop and a former Rhino about 10 minutes down the road... and about 30 minutes North there's a Gamestop in a mall there and a former EB-turned-Gamestop right outside of THAT mall) so there's more places to put in orders, but still. I'm not as big a Halo guy as some, so I don't mind waiting an extra day or two, but if you want it on launch day you may HAVE to camp even with a pre-order. Expect a lot of angry threads about this situation within the next few days.
This is one of the first times i've pre-ordered a game. Explain to me what kind of situations may arise even though i put in a pre-order. I thought the worst that could happen is i would have to wait in a bloated line for maybe 30min to an hour. (I Pre-ordered from BestBuy)
I dont think you can call people a loser for camping out or waiting in a line for a game.
I pre-orderd going up an hour before eb opens the doors at midnight, getting the game...putting coffee maker beside my couch playing till I have to go to work at 9am that morning.
My fiance thinks its a bit silly, but I am so pumped for this game.
i preorder a legendary so i might have a better chance i preordered it in the nearest Gamestop (theres about 3 i can go to in 10 min) im gonna go up there and get one a few days after launch day so if they run out, they could get a new shipment
i pre-ordered mine but i talked with my friend who works at EB and he says they dont have enough to fill pre orders well ofr the limeted edition so now i have to camp out.
Those of you who pre-ordered at midnight, are you arriving early? I can't decide when I will get to the store. Is this going to be like the wii, with a line around the building?
i was gonna go to the midgnight launch since i pre-ordered it, but i have work at a new job at 9 in the morning the next day so i'll just wait till i get out of work then buy it.

There might be hostile people pushing and junk. You might have a guy trying to sell food out of his trunk. You might see people listening to mp3 players or playing a handheld. I'll prolly be listening to music and texting my tasties. Lol. This is just the tip of the ice berg though.
well i could go pick it up now if i wanted 2 because my local game store has broken the street date and is selling the game already... but i have alot of test and projects due this week for school so i will be waiting for the weekend to come

Yea, I know people who camp out when new limited edition SHOES come out. Freaking shoes!! I pre ordererd it and I was thinking of going to get it at midnight, but I would have to show up at like 9pm and stand around for three hours. I think the best way to get it would have been from a 7-11 since they're open 24/7 and you could just stroll in at 1am after the croud goes away instead of midnight.
