I'm not talking about Old World Blues, I'm talking about the Xbox 360 version of the main game itself. I've already heard of most of the glitches, but what I want to know is how much have they impeded you, the gamer, as you were playing the game. Please don't respond if you haven't played it very much, I want to hear the responses from those who have spent a lot of time with the game and the glitches. Thanks.

In my 45 hours of playing the game, I've only had one glitch, where the game complete froze on me, and upon trying to load my most recent save, the game claimed it to be corrupted. That only set me back about 20 minutes, but I didn't much mind.

Haven't run into any glitches myself. I completed the game when the second patch had just came out and had no problems. I'm playing through it again to see if I can complete it on hardcore. The newest patch fixes a huge number of things so running into a problem is very slim. Apparently installing it to the HDD is a big help too.

I've played it for over 70 hours, on my second playthrough now, and have only ever encountered one game-breaking glitch which was fixed when I reloaded a save. There are other tiny glitches I've noticed like when a radscorpion gets stuck in the ground or an NPC is walking in thin air but that's about it.
I've got the game installed to my hard drive and I use my own saves as opposed to auto-saves.

I once saw a key NPC talking to me with his head stuck in the ceiling while performing the running animation. I stood up in silence, removed the game from my xbox and placed it back in its case

ROFL I saw lots of foolish glitches like that, and I kinda enjoyed them. I should check YouTube... I bet there's some good stuff.

Anyhow. I think I only had one major glitch... but since I always keep a lot of save files (with notes), it was easy to go back and get around the problem. I've played close to 200 hours since launch, and although it was buggy, it's was never fatally flawed. It's very well patched up now I think.

I have two xbox 360's and have owned two copies of New Vegas. I have over 100 xbox games that run flawlessly on both consoles, no issues at all. That said, I've never been able to play either copy of New Vegas further than 20 minutes into the game as both copies hard locked my systems. I let it do that a couple times on each system and then called it quits. I know a lot of people will say things like, no way it didn't happen. I must be treating my systems bad right? I mean that's what people said about the RRoD until MS actually came out and admitted it was a hardware problem and then ..... crickets. Anyway, over 100 games in my xbox library and that is the single game i've yet to actually be able to play.

I sat through my fiancee playing through the game. She had about 60 or so hours in when she finished it.

I saw her get stuck in the environment two or three times, and the game locked up the 360 a few times, but no quest breaking or game breaking bugs. Just some collision detection glitchs and a few freezes. Its pretty well patched and pretty stable for a huge game.

Save often, and you will be fine.
