Is 1TB external hard drive to big?
It cant use ANY external harddrive... Have you tried using one on the xbox360? You can use one for music and media only (no xbox live content or game installs) but why would anybody want to do that?[QUOTE="newb16"][QUOTE="johnny41252"] It cant use ANY external harddrive...johnny41252Have you tried using one on the xbox360? If your 20gb or your 120gb hard drive does not have enough space for music and movies, were else will you put them?
PS3 media server works for streaming all sorts of junk from your computer. There are other media servers too. But, I like PS3 media server so you can stream bluray disks and store as many music files as you want on a hard drive. There is also no codec issues I've ever seen, like you get by using a flash usb drive, or windows media centre.

The reason you get by with doing those things on the ps3, is because sony does not take enough messures to make sure there product gets screwed up. In other words sony sucks at telling people to not to mess up there products.
