how can i remove the disc tray cover

my xbox got effed up and im getting all the shiny parts off it for a core one. how do i get the disc tray cover that says xbox 360 off

You can, you just need to open the case up. Unscrew the bezel and replace it. Opening the case is an adventure of itself though.

i opened the case no problem i got everything off, just not the part on the tray that says xbox 360

ok carefully, pull the shiny bit towards you a bit, then pull up,it may sound like its snaps of, thats fine, unless it has snapped, its much easier on the original xbox than the 360 tho, cos of the curve,so be carfull, happy modding:)

Open Tray , loosen the pin (at the bottom) pull the cover up

ta daa its in your hand now.
