Frontlines has Hype. Army of 2 had a lot of hype in September, when it was supposed to come out and Dark Messiah had hype when it first came out 2 years ago. Fall of Liberty and Confict had bad demos, Club and Humans are niche games. Lost and Dynasty Warriors are, well you know. And I know noting about the rest.

All those games suck and some even have demos that suck. The only on ethat may be good is Army Of Two and it does have hype.torontomapleafs

Where are you getting your information from? Is there somewhere that you go that tells you how much "hype" a game has? Most people on this board talk about games that are already out. Occasionally a topic will pop up about a future release.

If you want to talk about a future release or get more info about it it's usually better to go to that games forum.

Army of Two - Looks like a great game, but before I decide to get it I have to play a demo first.

Frontlines: Fuel of War - The demo was alot of fun, and I can't wait to play the online multi-player as it seems like another Battlefield 2: Modern Warfare which I really liked the online multi-player for that game.

Conflict: Denied Ops - I thought the demo was not that good, so most likely will not be getting it.

The Club - I haven't played the demo yet, but I will soon since I have downloaded it.

Dynasty Warriors 6 - I have never played any of the others, but if the gameplay and controls is like Devil May Cry 4 then I may get it.

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty - I did want this game before I had played the demo, but after playing the demo which sucked I do not think that I want this game anymore. This game has what seems like a great story, but the gameplay just sucks.

Lost - When or if there is a demo I will try it, but I already lost with the show itself so I really do not feel like getting anymore lost then I already am. I may get it, but it really depends on the demo.

Destroy All Humans: Path of Furon - I didn't play the first game, and I am really not that interested in the sequel.

Disks of Tron - I have never heard of it. Is it based on the movie Tron from decades ago?

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements - The demo was not that good, so I may or may not get it.

A lot of these games are new series without a large established fanbase, thus nobody really knows what to expect from them (look at Kane and Lynch or Blacksite). They might be great but nobody's sure so there's a lot of wait and see.

A lot of the others have much smaller fanbases, meaning there isn't a lot of hype generated from the community (a la Halo 3, Rainbow Six Vegas 2).

Some of the others are from developers without deep pockets meaning they're not paying to skin Gamespot with ads.

Perhaps most important is that a lot of gamers are still in aftershock from the ridiculous holiday season (I still haven't played Bioshock). To be honest Turok really snuck up on me (not that I was particularly excited after Evolution), we didn't spend muh time looking past Christmas. Most people are really only focused on the big games like GTA4 and R6V2.

Personally I'd love to get hyped about Army of Two, co-op shooters are my favourite kind of gaming (I loved games like Halo 1/2/3 and SWAT 4 just for the co-op aspect), but I'm still worried that it might be very below average. I hope I'm wrong though.
