It was Microsoft's mistake for sending it to you. Make sure it's your information on the parcel, and enjoy. If a grocery cashier forgets to cash in a box of apples, and you leave the store - is that considered stealing? No.
But if you have a good conscience, then I guess you could send it back.
PS: I'm assuming you got this console purely out of the blue..
I've read this happening to a few people now. and that's just awesome

How could they possibly do that, though? It was their mistake, so they have to pay for it. It's almost the same principle as my grocery scenario in the first post here. If they end up calling him asking for it back, he can technically say "screw you" and continue with what he was doing.
