how do i connect my headset to my xbox360?

You have to use the special Xbox Live headsets (one comes with the system) and it plugs into the controller.

cant i use my own? because those sound quality isnt very good :(

No, I'm pretty sure you have to use the Xbox one.

or u can buy wireless one its like $50 or $60 but the quality is great!
