Act more mature?

If you turn the violence off in Gears of War, it's more of a humorous game then a violent shooter. And act mature. Go to a place or something with your dad where they are showing off Gears. Maybe at a GameCrazy where they are still letting people try it out. Go there and walk by the console and the guy playing it with your dad, and say "Eh...that's cool." Then turn away and look at other games on the shelf. What ever you do, don't go "ZOMG!!!1one TeH OwNaGE!!!!!11eleven"Warlock89lol yeah
If your as immature as your spelling and grammar are bad then your dad's right not to let you play it. Sorry for being a douce, actually I used to just have someone older to buy it for me, if you have the money even try paying them if they don't wan't to .
Tell him to stop being such a puss, I guarantee he will think twice after you tell him that :).nooblet69
ROFL probably the funniest thing i've read on GS in a long time.
EDIT: oh right, on topic: What i would do, is find a T rated game that your dad is somewhat interested in. I remember when i wanted vice city, i was like... 12 or 13 so my stepdad said no, then i found out when he was a kid he played the original 'spy hunter' in the arcades, so he let me get that game (rated T, i believe) so i just convinced him that Vice City wasnt that much worse and he let me get it.
Now to all of you 30 year olds who tell this kid to be more mature, or grow up, just chill, i had games like this when i was his age and i turned out just fine, its a videogame, its not gonna kill anyone.
Kill him, its the only way!!!
****CNN NEWS FLASH**** Kid Kills parent over voilent videogame!!!
*DUN DUN DUN DUN!!!*
*Jack Thompson to the rescue!!!*

Yes...."rescue" indeed
Well, fourteen might be a bit too early to start playing a violent and bloody game like Gears of War. I think you may just have to live with your fathers decision. K4ss3rwhat if you turn off the blood and stuff i heard its a lot less violent

If you can't use question marks in your sentences...You might wanna wait a little while for Gears of War.
If he lets you watch mature rated films use that as an excuse... and that it's a game so it can possibly be as bad as films which have real people in them
EDIT: Or get rainbow six vegas: I like it a lot more than gears
have one of your friends buy the game for you then just hide it from your dad. i had to do that for one of my friends cuz his parents wont let him play M rated games so i went with my dad and bought a second one for him and now he just hides it from his parents.
edit: also you CAN turn the gore off so its not bad. i kinda like it like that cuz then theres no blood on your screen and it makes it easier to see
You need to let them drop. Ha. Anyway, do you already have the game? Just pop it in and play it. You'll be ok. He'll be amazed by the graphics.
OK so im 14 aand im alowwed to play halo 2 but i dont think my dad would let me play GOW so wht is a way i can convince him thxmaxpinigis
Wait three years.
Get a game that is even worse in a bundle or something, then he might let u get gears. I'm 15 and I wasn't allowed to get it. When I got my 360 it just turned out to be bundled with it. My mom couldn't do anything about it. She wanted to take it away from me but I told her she could only have it if she paid me 69.99 which was the games price at that time.
