For almost all my 360 games, I can't read the text because it's so small.

I've never had a problem with game text before I got my 360 on my TV.

It's a normal 19" TV.

Any1 know how to make the text bigger?(I already tried changing it to widescreen but it just messed up the screen)

The only way is probably getting a bigger tv, I don't know if changing the resolution helps or not.

Get a bigger tv.

I have a 30" and still have trouble reading in a few games (Lost Planet, Dead Rising)

ITS NOT THE T.V.!!!!!

I had a 360 on a 40 onch screen and everything was fine! It was of the newer generations of xbox's made in 2008. I gota red ring and sent it out 3 weeks ago, and while it was being repaired I purchsed a used one at GameStop. It was made in 2006 andI cant read ANYTHING. All the gamesI was playing beforethe text is SO small! Ive searched the menu's and cant find anything that works. The only thing I can think of is maybe its the older consoles?

It has nothing to do with the console. It has a little bit to do with the game you are playing, but either way it can be very annoying. I was playing on a 30+inch tube for awhile; however, I picked up a 26in HDTV a few months ago and now I have no problem seeing or viewing text with any of my games--including the ones that had difficult to read text.

The TV plays an important part in viewing the text, but I can in no way see how newer consoles change this.

I had that problem with a standard tv, but after I got an hd tv I no longer had that problem.

Yeah its because is an SDTV, the Xbox 360 text is intended for use with HDTV, so by using an SDTV you are squashing the resolution way down.

I use to have the same problem before I got an HDTV, the games were meant to be played in HD so the game is being squished to fit the tv, fortunately though there are some games that have a patch to be able to read text normally.

yep, it is your TV. Most games are designed with HDTV in mind so the resolution is smaller on SDTV's. There is nothing you can do except buy a new hdtv.

You could always go the PC monitor route for HD gaming at a cheaper price. You'd just need a VGA cable and could game up to 1080p depending on the monitor. Dell.com has a 24" 1080p widescreen monitor on sale for $203 shipped. I use the 23" version of it and its amazing.
