I bought a system that comes with a 30 day trial of Live Gold, but can't figure out how to activate.
hopefully i can remember this correctly....Go to your name and click on account management. then somewhere there should be redeem code or something like that.I'm sure someone will have a better/more detailed description than that.
When you make your gamertag it should ask you. I skipped that step and could never figure out how to get it so I just bought it.
Just go through the entire account set up process, after you choose silver it should say you qualify for 30 day trial. Then just choose that
I got mine automatically, even though I didn't want it because now it's wasted on Live that doesn't even work.
