try rebooting your modem and turning off your computer. That happens to me sometimes so I usually turn off my computer and reboot my modem(unplug, wait 15 seconds and then plug back in) and when it turns back on it usually works. If it doesnt then just call customer support.mushycookie800
just happened to me not 5 minutes ago & once yesterday - like he says jus t unplug modem & router and wait a few seconds
i can help with this. if you are using the same chord from a wired modem to your PC and xbox (switching them back and forth) then do this.
1. connect only the PC to the modem and on your PC go to start, run, then type cmd
2. then type ipconfig /all (space before the /
3. and write down the physical address of the PC.
4. on your 360 dashboard go to system, network settings, edit settings. go to the additional settings tab then advanced settings.
5. go to Alternate MAC adress and type your physical adress from your PC onto that line without dashes. then select done and then test xbox live.
hope that works i did the exact same thing to my xbox and now i run it off a router and it still works.
