What a rip off. It's not like just because I didn't know about those two days, I didn't have connection failures.Rendeverous
yes, giving a ten dollar product away for free is a rip off because you didn't pay enough attention to get it!

Yes, actually. My connection died just like everyone else, I was playing without a gamercard for a week just like everybody else. So in turn, just like everybody else, I was denied a service I'd paid for. Microsoft is a professional corporation; so I assumed that's how they'd go about it: professionally. I sat back waiting patiently assuming they'd do something like send everyone a message, or perhaps even an announcement screen, like the ones that come up before games telling you there is something you need to download before continuing. After waiting long enough, I came here and made a topic. Happy?
The game is nothing special so don't feel bad that you missed it.PlasmaBeam44
i thought the co-op campaign was pretty fun.

WTF?!?! you talking about? Playing with no gamercard? what??? XBL wasn't down it was only your connection messed up.No, it was XBL. I'd recovered my gamertag at a friend's house prior to it. It went out while I was there, so I couldn't recover it at my house.Rendeverous
you didnt miss much, it sucks anyways.

they actually sent me a message telling me when i can download it. plus it was all over every site that cateirs to video games. it was pretty hard to miss if you trolled the internet and found yourself on any game site. The game is actually pretty fun if u just wanna smash stuff. Co-op and multiplayer is the best part! its fun, to bad ya missed out but the whole XBL thing it was only dof for like a week or so for me. Cant expect much in return
don't worry undertow kinda blows imo they should have gave everyone 800 points and let them pick what they wanted. would have gone over much better.

I'd have to agree. After playing undertow, I'd be happy if it were MS points. Hell, 400 would've justified it even more, considering i'd purchase something I'd want insead of playing something I didn't like.

i agree, you should have paid more attention.
i will say however, that giving away a gift to compensate for technical issues to everyone, even those who didnt suffer from the messed up connection, is really dumb. and "if you missed it your screwed" kinda rule set is dumb too
