how do i hook my 360 up to a pc monitor

MS have a VGA adapter cable as an optional extra. I use one on a computer moniter and it works fine.

That was for LCD monitors, I'm taling about the old fashioned big ole CRT monitors

With CRT monitors you would use a VGA cable - with LCD you would usually use a DVI cable. If you are connecting to a CRT monitor with a VGA cable - you would physically hook it up exactly the same way you would a computer.

As long as it supports the resolutions listed and is a VGA monitor it will work.

Wow - that's RGB man - that's very rare. There's not a way that I'm aware of to hook the 360 via that method. Sorry. If you're in the US you can get CRT's for super cheap now days though - just grab a newer one than what you have.
