I have a 360 arcade and I was wondering how to make work in HD. I heard component cables work but do you need something else too?

If you just bought it then it should have an HDMI port. I don't know if you can get 1080p with component, so I would recommend you purchase an HDMI cord. Also, make sure your TV supports 1080p.

You can get up to 1080i on component. Just plug it in and go into the system settings and change the output to 1080i.

Yes - you can get 1080p with component as long as your tv supports it! You would have to check your tv manual. I know my (Samsung) does and it looks great.

Yes, he is right. Try and use HDMI if possible, but if not find out if your TV is capable of displaying 1080p thru component---it is NOT an issue for the 360
