I have a 2wire router and I have no idea. I tried using www.portforward.com but it didn't help. (

What I do is go into network settings on the 360, select my network and select restore to factory settings. Then I turn off the power to my router and leave it off for a few minutes. Turn the router back on and leave for a few minutes, then reconnect my 360 to the router and my NAT settings are open. I have to do this process every once in a while. I don't know why my NAT changes from open to strict.

It's really hard to explain, I had to spend one entire afternoon doing that, but it depends on the type of your router :\

Type this into your address bar: 192.168.1.1 and try to find the NAT type on your router's settings. Then change it to open. It's hard to be any more descriptive because routers have different interfaces depending on brand and model. Google is your friend here.

It could be a number of things - I always find that turning off my router and resetting network settings within the XBOX does the trick - If this doesn't work it could be something to do with the exchange - I know that in the UK a lot of BT lines have been upgraded, thus rendering current routers useless...

When I had the 2wire modem I had to set my 360 to DMZ in order to get an open NAT.
